Revolution Trains has received the first Engineering Prototype (EP) sample of its forthcoming ‘N’ gauge KUA nuclear flask quadbogie wagon for evaluation.
Just two of these striking vehicles were built in the late 1990s, mainly for transporting spent nuclear fuel from Royal Naval submarines.
Revolution Trains is offering both wagons as a limited-run twin-pack, with correct running numbers and variances between markings on each, as per the prototype. Some improvements to the handrails and small details have already been identified and once amended, the models will progress to the decorated sample stage before the order book closes.
Early bird orders are being taken now at a special price of £139.95 per pack.
