NUNU 1/20 MCLAREN MP4/2C FULL BUILD

McLaren’s MP4/2 Formula 1 racing car was developed by John Barnard and operated by the team during the World Championships of 1984, 1985 (MP4/2B) and 1986 (MP4/2C). The team was one of the first to use entire carbon-fibre structures, with this lightweight machine being powered by a 1.5lit V6 TAG-Porsche engine, which produced 650bhp in race set-up and up to 800bhp in qualifying ‘trim’ with maximum turbo pressure. Such impressive performance allowed just minor updates to be added from season to season with incredible results – McLaren drivers won the individual championship in all three years and the team claimed the constructor’s prize in 1984 and ‘85.
