Dapol is to release an all-new ‘OO’ gauge Great Western Railway (GWR) Autocoach.
Based on six Diagram N vehicles built from new in 1907, they were used on branch lines in the West Country and Wales.
Currently in tooling, Dapol’s all-new ‘OO' gauge GWR Autocoaches will be available in seven different colour schemes finished as 37 in GWR lined crimson lake (Cat No. 4P-004-001), 40 in lined GWR chocolate and cream (4P-004-002), 41 in GWR Twin Cities chocolate and cream (4P-004-003), 39 in GWR ‘shirtbutton’ chocolate and cream (4P-004-004), W37W in BR carmine and cream (4P-004-005), W35 in BR crimson (4P-004-006) and W38 in BR maroon (4P-004-007).
Dapol’s newly-tooled models will feature a wealth of separately applied detailing, sprung metal buffers, removable roof and interior illumination. Models will be offered Digital Command Control (DCC) ready, DCC fitted and DCC sound fitted.
Prices are set at £80 DCC ready, £115 DCC fitted and £195 DCC sound-fitted.
