Peewit MC.200, MB-339A, Jet Provost, Avia S-199 and Tatra OA VZ.20 Masks

Czech firm Peewit has been busy with new releases, with five new products catering for subjects as diverse as undercarriage bay masks to camouflage sets for a Czechoslovakian armoured car.

Peewit Masks

Three sets offer the by-now standard kabuki-style pre-cut, self-adhesive paper canopy and wheel masks for Italeri’s 1/48 MC.200 Saetta (M48022) and 1/72 MB-339A (M72302), plus Fly’s 1/48 Jet Provost T.3/T.4/T.51/T.52 (M48023). Clear placement guides are included, along with advice on the best tools to use for application. Peewit’s latest wheel bay covers are designed to fit Eduard’s all-new Avia S-199/CS-199 kits (75020) and comprise two 3D-printed blanks to fill the wing openings, making spraying the model straightforward.

Last, but by no means least, comes a comprehensive package for the First to Fight 1/72 Tatra OA VZ.30 armoured car (top). This comprises two sheets, one offers wheel masks, while the larger item provides tape sections to replicate the complex three-tone camouflage used by Czechoslovakian and Slovakian armed forces. Helpful tips are included on changes to the assembly sequence to ease painting. All are available direct from Peewit, visit the website at: http://peewit.wix.com/masky
