The F-15 has experienced something of a revival in 1/72 scale in recent years. Before the release of the Platz kit (employed here) in 2016, the Hasegawa moulds reigned supreme. Now, though, with Great Wall Hobby and Fine Molds having released MSIP II and standard J kits, respectively, in late 2023 – and Revell offering an all-new F-15E the previous year – the competition is stiff.
