Rails' MC Metals 21ton limited edition steel opens
Rails of Sheffield has received a decorated sample of its forthcoming 'OO' gauge limited edition Accurascale BR 21ton MDV/PMV steel mineral open wagon in MC Metals branded grey for assessment.
Representative of the wagons used on scrap metal traffic to Ravenscraig steel works, Rails of Sheffield has commissioned an exclusive pack of three individually numbered wagons finished as CHR 4630, CHR 4634 and CHR 4637 in MC Metals grey.
Each of these newly-tooled wagons will feature a highly detailed body and underframe, roller bearing axle boxes, Oleo buffers, separately applied detailing, turned metal wheels, small tension lock couplings in NEM pockets and more.
Limited to a small production run, they are priced at £74.95 per triple pack. Delivery is anticipated later this Summer (Q3 2021).
