Rails limited edition Class 37/6
Rails of Sheffield has announced an exclusive 'OO' gauge Class 37/6 in partnership with Accurascale modelling Harry Needle Railroad Company (HNRC) 37610 in BR blue with wrap-around yellow noses and grey roof.
The model will use Accurascale's new tooling for the Class 37/6 Co-Co diesels incoporating Wipac lighting clusters, optional miniature snowploughs, a powerful five-pole motor in a die-cast chassis, 21-pin decoder socket and a twin speaker set up for DCC sound fitted versions. Further version specific details include Class 50 style cast bogies, mutliple working socket, a flush roof with plated boiler exhaust and no cab roof vent, Class 37/6 bufferbeam configuration with air/control pipes only and more.
Rails of Sheffield is offering the locomotive at £169.99 DCC ready and £259.99 DCC sound fitted. Delivery is expected in early 2021 and it is available to pre-order from Rails now.
