ALL-IN-ONE HOBBY WORKBENCH
Although not the first modelling company to release a workstation, Revell’s new offering will be a popular addition to many modellers’ equipment sets.
The firm’s Work Station (39085) comprises a moulded styrene base with openings for paint brushes, tools, instruction booklets, a recessed area for Revell’s small-size cutting mat (39056 – available separately) and two dished ‘trays’ on either side, which should prevent items such as brushes from rolling off the workstation. There are also two ‘troughs’ at the upper end that are intended for up to 14 plastic inserts (16 are supplied, in four styles) in any configuration– they can accommodate any of Revell’s paint, glue or weathering products, although they are not of a universal design. Of note, even the firm’s acrylic pots found in gift/model sets are catered for.
