Revolution Trains has confirmed that it is to produce a second batch of its popular ‘OO’ gauge MMA/JNA box wagons and bogie TEA tankers.
First produced in 2018, the ‘OO’ gauge TEA tanks are due to appear in EWS, Freightliner and debranded Greenergy liveries as well as VTG branded versions in red, blue, green and grey colour schemes. Some liveries will appear with a choice of running numbers.
The ‘OO’ gauge MMA/JNA box wagons are set to appear in multiple colour schemes with a selection of running numbers including Cappagh/VTG blue, GBRf/Ermewa blue, Touax red and Wascosa/Network Rail yellow.
As with the previous releases, the models will accurately portray the nine-rib and 11-rib variants, where appropriate, together with or without small side access doors and variations to the ends and brake equipment. New tooling is also being developed to reflect prototypical differences on the latest versions of these box wagons.
Prices are set at £48.95 for the TEA tankers, while those for the MMA/JNA have yet to be confirmed. TEA tanks are expected to appear during the second half of 2023, while a date for the second batch of MMA/JNA wagons has yet to be confirmed.
