Revolution shows Ecofrets
Revolution Trains has released images of its decorated Ecofret container wagons for 'OO' and 'N' gauge. The order booked for these all-new wagons is due to close within the next few weeks allowing the models to move towards production.
Prices start from £75.00 for an 'N' gauge twin pack, rising to £102.50 for a three-car set with 'OO' gauge sets priced at £100 for two-car and £135 for three-car Ecofret wagons for pre-orders.
The VTG operated container wagons operate in fixed two and three-car formations consisting of outer and inner wagons. They are designed to carry 40ft containers while the centre vehicle on the three-car sets can carry two 20ft containers.
Revolution Trains is offering four versions consisting of a two-car pack in VTG livery and three three-car wagon packs in GBRf Ecofret branded blue, GBRf plain blue and DB red for both scales. The specification includes turned metal wheels, NEM coupling pockets, separately fitted parts where appropriate, positional spigots on the 'OO' gauge centre wagons and more.
