Hornby’s new Ruston and Hornsby 48DS will come with a ‘match truck’ for additional electrical pick-ups. The truck can be disconnected from the locomotive.

HORNBY is set to impress industrial and diesel modellers with its smallest ready-to-run ‘OO’ gauge diesel locomotive yet – the Ruston and Hornsby 48DS four-wheel shunter. This tiny locomotive is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2019 and has already reached the decorated sample stage.
