Staff Projects: Topley Dale scenic overhaul

 

An oil train in the hands of a ‘9F’ 2-10-0 plods through the station at Topley Dale. The new ground cover around the station really enhances the scene and has much greater depth and texture than the original.

RECENT work to transform the scenery on our ‘OO’ gauge test track has shown how much the original ground cover on Topley Dale has changed over the years. The first parts of the layout were built in 2012 and original grass around the station and main tunnel was in dire need of a refresh to match the new grasses and textures applied to the rest of the layout.
