Here’s a welcome boost for Hasegawa’s F-15Es (although they should also fit Academy and Great Wall Hobby kits) in the form of current, and accurate markings for airframes flown during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. Both are from a Seymour Johnson-based squadron, and the sheet provides full markings, insignia and stencils (including for the SNIPER/LANTIRN navigation and target designation pods), plus bomb tallies and nose artwork. Colour and register appears spot-on (the cartoon figures are two-piece items, with black outlines), and gloss carrier film should reduce the risk of silvering, but several of the black walkway and warning markings appeared slightly heavy on AMW’s sample, although once on the Medium Gunship Gray airframe, this may not be as apparent.
