New identities for Sonic Models ‘56XX’

Sonic Models has announced additional liveries and new numbers for its first ready-to-run ‘N’ gauge locomotive - the Great Western Railway (GWR) ‘56XX’ 0-6-2T.

With production now under way, the six newly-announced models include 6671 in Great Western green (Cat No. S2101-06A), 5609 in GWR green with ‘shirt button’ crests (S2101-07), 5644 in GWR green with plain GWR block lettering (S2101-09), 6602 in British Railways black (S2101-08), 5619 in BR black with early crests (S2101-04A) and 5643 in BR lined green with late crests (S2101-01A).

These new versions, together with the previously announced batch, are available to order from Revolution Trains and Rails of Sheffield, with all new and existing orders due to be fulfilled by Rails of Sheffield once they have arrived in the UK. Priced at £109.95 per model, delivery is expected during the summer.
