It’s been 11 years since this Czech firm first released its 1/72 SAAB J 21A, but its now reissued and will surely be welcomed by Swedish Air Force fans, as CHRIS CLIFFORD discusses.
Early Special Hobby kits – as with the firm’s new items – always replicate interesting aircraft, but the older items are slightly challenging to build due to their typical limited-run format. Its re-released SAAB J-21A (72215) falls into this category. While the type might not be to everyone’s taste, this fascinating 1940s twin-boomed fighter will be on the list of anyone that favours building aircraft flown by the Swedish Air Force.
