Locomotion Models has commissioned several exclusive 'OO’ gauge Stockton & Darlington Railway (S&DR) Chaldron coal hoppers from Accurascale, depicting the waggons used in the early years of the world’s first public railway.
The new specially branded packs comprise a single Chaldron waggon pack and a triple waggon pack, reflecting the evolution of the three different types of Chaldron coal hopper within the National Collection.
Locomotion’s exclusive single waggon pack represents a S&DR built waggon (Cat No. 517812), while the triple pack contains another example of the type together with a North Eastern Railway P1 type with SH (South Hetton) legend and a Londonderry type with L legend (517829).
Priced at £19.99 for the single pack and £49.99 for the triple waggon pack, they are available to order now.
