Eduard 1/48 Hawker Tempest Mk.II review

Special Hobby has relied on fellow Czech manufacturer Eduard to provide us with a new 1/48 Hawker Tempest Mk.II, as CHRIS CLIFFORD explains.

STORMY SURPRISE

Fans of Hawker’s Tempest were cock-a-hoop when Special Hobby released its 1/32 Mk.V in 2016, and it swiftly followed this with a Mk.II in the same scale. But in a move to offer the same aircraft in 1/48, it has boxed Eduard’s Mk.II parts, which is notable because Eduard has not yet released this tooling itself… only the Mk.V in different boxings. Eduard's version will undoubtedly come in time.
