FIRST LOOK: TAMIYA’S NEW 1/48 F-35A

Hot on the heels of Italeri’s 1/48 new-tool F-35B, Far Eastern kit powerhouse Tamiya unveiled its own freshly designed F-35, in ‘A’ format, two weeks ago at the All Japan Model and Hobby Show. While the move has raised eyebrows in some quarters, it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise considering Japan has bought the F-35A/B as part of its defence policy.
