Gaugemaster has commissioned several new ‘N’ gauge models for the Gaugemaster Collection. Amongst the new releases is a Great Western Railway (GWR) ‘Castle’ set (Cat No. GM2210301) comprising Class 43 power cars 43093 Old Oak Common HST Depot 1976-2018, 43041 St Catherine’s Castle, plus Mk 3 Trailer Standard (TS) 48103 and Trailer Guard Standard (TGS) 49101 in GWR green. Additional Mk 3 TS vehicles (GM2310101/ GM2310102) will also be offered to complete the formation. Due to tooling limitations, the carriages won’t feature sliding doors.
Also planned is a GWR Final Days set (GM2210302) which includes 43002 Sir Kenneth Grange in its original BR InterCity 125 colour scheme and 43185 Great Western in BR InterCity Swallow livery, together with two GWR green Mk 3 carriages. Completing the trio is a Network Rail New Measurement Train pack (GM2210303) containing 43014 The Railway Observer and 43062 John Armitt in Network Rail yellow along with Mk 3 Conference Coach 975814 and Track Recording Coach 977994. .
Finally, Gaugemaster has commissioned Tomytec to produce a special Network Rail liveried track cleaning vehicle (GM2250101). Prices are set at £79.95 for the track cleaning vehicle and £209.95 for the HST packs.
