STEAM LOCOMOTIVE weathering has many variable. What type of locomotive of is it, what type of trains would it haul, is it fresh out of works or is it coming to the end of its career. In this second part of our weathering series, we tackle a pair of Hornby BR '9F' 2-10-0s to give them different levels of weathered finish to represent a standard locomotive in well maintained condition and a more heavily weathered Crosti example.
