THE LATEST steam release from Hornby is the much-needed GWR 'Large Prairie' for 'OO'. The new model is being offered with '5101' and '61XX' class identities with the first to arrive in the Hornby Magazine office being 6145 in BR black with early crests and Reading shedcodes (Cat No. R3723). It has already been joined in the shops by 6110 in Great Western green (R3721) and this pair of '61XXs' will be followed by '5101s' 4154 in GWR green (R3719) and 4160 in BR lined green with late crests (R3725).

All versions feature an 8-pin decoder socket, space for a speaker and a five-pole motor with flywheel. Turned metal wheels are used throughout while detail differences are catered for by the tooling. NEM coupling pockets are fitted to both bogies together with sprung metal buffers at all four corners.
