Hornby Magazine Model Railway Awards voting 2023

The Hornby Magazine Model Railway Awards are back for 2023 – and voting is now open for you to select your choices.

With more than 35 all-new and retooled locomotive projects released over the past 12 months across ‘OO’, ‘O’, ‘N’, ‘OO9’ and – for the first time – ‘TT:120’, it really has been another outstanding year. Factor in almost 50 new wagon and 12 new carriage projects completed across the scales and it has the potential for being one of the best yet.

Categories remain the same as in previous years, although we have split out some of the carriage and wagon nominations this year to better reflect the upsurge in rolling stock projects coming to fruition. You can also vote for the Manufacturer of the Year and Layout of the Year, as well as Innovation of the Year, Retailer of the Year, Specialist Retailer of the Year and You Tuber of the Year. A shortlist of nominees for these latter categories has been selected for you to cast your vote.

Voting is open from 9.00am on Thursday September 7 and closes at 11.59pm on Monday September 25.

This year’s winners of the Hornby Magazine Model Railway Awards will be revealed during a special ceremony at the Great Electric Train Show on Saturday October 14, online at Key Model World and in the following issue of Hornby Magazine.
