In mid-August West Coast Cement will be making its second public outing for a special event in Hornby’s former factory in Margate. MIKE WILD catches up on the final preparations for the show.

WHEN the news came in that Hornby was hosting an open weekend in Margate on August 17/18, we knew we had to be there to exhibit one of our exhibition layouts in Hornby’s former factory. The event celebrates the refurbishment of Hornby’s Visitor Centre as well as offering the first public access to the One:One Collection of stored locomotives and multiple units.
