The World Premiere of Attack on Sorpe Dam takes place on May 13 2023 at the Bristol Aquarium, Bristol, which tells the true story of the attack on Sorpe Dam which was part of the famous Dambusters Raid of May 16/17 1943 with an Avro Lancaster.
The film is set in May 1943 when the outcome of the Second World War in Europe is still uncertain for the Allies. George 'Johnny' Johnson, a young RAF Bomb Aimer, joins a new RAF squardon, tasked with a top secret operation that has the potential to deliver a devastating blow against the German war machine. Johnny provides a first-hand account, in his own words.
The film premiere includes a Q&A with Director Andrew Panton and other members of the production team and there will also be exclusive merchandise available to purchase.
