ALL-NEW TRIDENT AIRLINER FROM X-SCALE

Ukrainian kit manufacturer X-Scale made quite a debut last year with its 1/144 Douglas DC-8-32 and -33 airliners. The tooling was originally designed by Eastern Express, but then continued by X-Scale after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began. X-Scale’s follow-on kit, released recently, replicates a British subject in the same scale… Hawker Siddeley’s Trident 1C airliner. A direct competitor of the Boeing 727 at the time, the 1C was the first of this three-engined passenger aircraft family, which sprang originally from the de Havilland design department.
