PEEPING SPIT ‘EIGHTEEN’ MARKINGS FROM XTRADECAL

Hannants’ own decal brand has released a package of six different FR.Mk.18e schemes, obviously with Airfix’s new 1/48 kit in mind.

Airfix pleased many Spitfire fans by reworking its new-tool Mk.XIV, to produce an F Mk.XVIII (see a review here). While the kit is of the pure fighter variant, with the right references and a modicum of scratch-building it an be turned into an FR.18e, which is the subject of Xtradecal’s new sheet X48230.
