Crafty Hobbies has been trading in Barrow town centre for 20 years. We stock a wide range of Model Railway items, plastic kits, dolls house items and crafting materials, to suit all skill levels from beginner through to those with more experience.

We sell new and pre-loved model railways and can offer advice on the best products to meet your needs.

John has been railway modelling for over 50 years (and his layout is still a work in process), so he has a wealth of knowledge that he’s happy to share.

Shelagh has tried most papercrafts and finally, during lockdown got round to building a tiny model of a Spanish Galleon. It now forms the centre piece of our window display, but at only 3 inches long is easy to miss.

Richard is our resident ‘Weather Man’ and as well as custom weathering items for the shelf will take on commissions.
