GETSMK2021

Slugworth & Co

Slugworth & Co. are manufacturers of fine chocolates and sweets. Their factory has a narrow gauge railway connecting it to the main line railway where there are exchange sidings. This compact scene is modelled in 'OO9' and features 5in radius curves!

Museum of Transport

This popular 4mm layout consists of a fictitious Museum of Transport situated in the regenerated former dockland of an English town. Railway exhibits are housed in a purpose-built Railway Gallery while 4mm scale electric tramcars operate on a double track around part of the layout.

Live Steam Roadshow

We are the OO Live Steam Club. We see our role as supporting Hornby’s Live Steam ‘OO’ gauge products from the early 2000s and showing owners and potential owners how to get the best out of their Hornby live steam locomotives. See us at the 2021 Great Electric Train Show on October 2/3.

Humphrey Road Sidings

Humphrey Road Sidings is a departure for us as we normally model overseas railways. The layout depicts a small Southern Railway goods yard in ‘OO’ gauge. It doesn’t model a prototypically place, it is set in a generic location ‘somewhere in SR territory’.

Arrowmouth, 'OO'

Redditch Model Railway Club's fantastic 'OO' gauge coastal layout was amongst the first to be published in Hornby Magazine in issue number three. See this busy Midland Region main line layout once more at the 2021 Great Electric Train Show.

New Kensal Green, 'OO'

New Kensal Green is presented at the Great Electric Train Show by the South Coast Model Development Group and will transport you back to the final years of steam on the Western Region.

Little Burford, 'O'

This rural Great Western Railway branch line models a characterful through station in 7mm scale using the latest ready-to-run locomotives and rolling stock from Dapol and Heljan as well as kit built wagons. Presented by Mike Hickling and Dan Evason this wonderful models brings back the peace and tranquility of the 1930s.

Reevy Road West, 'OO'

Reevy Road West is exhibited by Bradford Model Railway Club and models the West Riding of Yorkshire in the BR blue era. Expect express and heavy freights running side by side on this superb 'OO' gauge layout.

Dragonby, 'N'

Dragonby's visit to the Great Electric Train Show will be its 189th public outing since this 'N' gauge layout made its debut at Acton Mainline in the 1990s with Croydon Model Railway Society. The 2021 Great Electric Train Show will be amongst its last events before retirement with current owner Geoff Buttler.

North Cornwall Brewery, 'OO'

Malcolm Briggs' stunning North Cornwall Brewery will be making its exhibition debut at the 2021 Great Electric Train Show following its print debut in HM163 (December 2020). Marvel at its scratch built buildings, track set into the block paved ground and stunning attention to detail at the show.
