ICM
This Ukrainian firm has forged a great reputation for producing well-detailed aircraft, military, maritime, auto and figure kits, in various scales. Highlights include the series of 1/48 A-26 Invaders, Junkers Ju 88s and the Ford Model T in 1/24 scale.
NEW TWO-SEAT 1/72 ‘FOXBAT’ FROM ICM
"So ugly it's cool" is how you could describe the two-seat Foxbat, and modellers can now add the MiG-25PU interceptor trainer to their collections, courtesy of ICM's new 1/72 rendition. It's a stunning kit with fine detail all round.
FORTRESS FLYERS
The boxtop artwork may feature a B-17, but the three airmen and two groundcrew would be just as suitable for ICM’s own A-26 Invaders or other similar light bombers.
OPEL TRIPLE PACKAGE
ICM has released another diorama set combining several 1/35 kits: its trio of Opel saloons, 35742 Admiral, 35475 Kapitän and 35478 Kadett K38, in the guise of World War Two-era German staff transport cars.
NATIONALIST SEAGULL
ICM’s ‘Guomindang’ (alternatively spelt Kuomintang and referring to the government that established the Republic of China Air Force – ROCAF) version of its 1/72 Polikarpov I-153 offers modellers a different take on the Soviet biplane fighter.
SHARK-MOUTHED SNAKES
ICM has been quick to follow its gorgeous early model 1/32 AH-1G with this late-production airframe that also includes an external M195 20mm cannon, plus associated ammunition storage.
LONG-NOSE BRONCO FROM ICM
Having recently wowed us with its superb 1/48 OV-10A Bronco, ICM has now released the later OV-10D+, allowing modellers to fully represent the changes to this type throughout its long career.
DETAILED-PACKED GUNSHIP
If you thought ICM's recent 1/32 AH-1G Cobra gunship was good, wait till you see what Special Hobby has added to it in the latter's Hi-Tech package.
Building ICM's 1/32 scale Stearman PT17/N2S-3 Kaydet
Richard Spreckley tackles ICM's recent 1/32 Stearman PT17/N2S-3 Kaydet, replicating a dazzling United States Army Air Force machine.
Richard SpreckleyGREAT VALUE KATYUSHA COMBO
ICM has made a name for itself with its ‘all-in-one’ Diorama Sets, but the WWII Red Army Rocket Artillery package elevates this to a whole new level in terms of content, presentation and value for money.
FANTASTIC FOXBAT
Having worked its way through the reconnaissance/strike Foxbat variants it was just a matter of time before ICM released the interceptor versions, with the first being a MiG-25PD Foxbat-E.
