Hattons is to produce a second batch of its popular Hattons Originals ‘OO’ gauge South Eastern & Chatham Railway (SECR) ‘P’ 0-6-0T.
Seven models will form this next tranche of releases including an SECR ‘Goods’ green example for the first time.
Bearing the hallmarks of the initial batch of models, the specification includes a five-pole motor, flywheel, six-pin DCC decoder socket, all-wheel electrical pick-up and provision for an 11mm x 15mm digital sound speaker.
Models planned include 325 in SECR lined green (Cat No. H4-P-017), 178 in SECR ‘Goods’ green (H4-P-018), 1323 in Southern Railway (SR) black (H4-P-019), 556 in SR olive green (H4-P-020), 31555 in BR lined black with early crests (H4-P-021), 31557 in BR lined black with early crests (H4-P-022) and a re-run of 323 Bluebell in lined Bluebell Railway blue, following customer demand.
Priced at £85 each, they are being produced in limited numbers with delivery expected during the second quarter of 2024.
