Lighting Control

A little extra detail can go a long way, especially in 7mm scale. MIKE WILD has been using the evenings to add a few finishing touches to his ‘O’ gauge ‘Western’.

A little extra detail has been added to D1061 with a set of etched stainless steel number and nameplates from Fox Transfers. These are just slightly larger than the original printed versions making them straightforward to fix in place over the top of the printed lettering.

ONE OF THE GREAT advantages of Digital Command Control (DCC) is the ability to manage lighting functions at the touch of a button. This isn’t always as straightforward in ‘OO’ as many of the functions are connected to a main circuit board and there isn’t always the space, but in ‘O’ gauge the process of installing a decoder makes it all the more achievable.
