Production of Accurascale’s all-new ‘OO’ gauge model of the GWR ‘Manor’ 4-6-0 is in full swing with casting and moulding of the parts completed and decoration of the models in progress during November.
The GWR ‘Manor’ will be Accurascale’s first ‘OO’ gauge steam locomotive release and as well as the production versions Key Publishing is offering a limited edition of 350 pieces modelling preserved ‘Manor’ 4-6-0 7802 Bradley Manor which is owned and maintained by the Erlestoke Manor Fund.
The Accurascale ‘Manors’ and our limited edition are due to arrive in the first quarter of 2023 with completion of production expected just after Chinese New Year for delivery in March 2023.
The sound-fitted version of Bradley Manor has sold out on pre-order, but the DCC ready version of 7802 is still available to order from the Key Publishing Shop. Prices are set at £169.99 for the DCC ready versions.
The specification for the ‘Manors’ includes die-cast and injection moulded parts, sprung buffers, NEM coupling pockets with small tension lock couplings, optional buffer beam parts, a fully detailed cab interior, separately fitted handrails and a Churchward 3,500gallon tender.
The internal specification calls for a three-pole motor mounted in the boiler, Next18 decoder socket, factory fitted speakers and stay alive pack in the DCC sound fitted versions, a helical gearbox geared for a scale maximum speed of 90mph and a chassis suitable for running on second radius curves.
