Various older AMT kits in different genres are being re-released by the firm Round 2. Among these is the former's 1/25 Dan Gurney Lotus Racer (AMT1288/12), which replicates the #93 Lotus 29 driven by this famous American driver at the 1963 Indianapolis 500. Another ’29 chassis was raced there by the equally legendary Jim Clark, for the same team (although they sported different liveries). Gurney and Clark finished seventh and second respectively.
