The latest additions to the Key Model World Shop are highly-detailed laser-cut viaduct kits for ‘OO’ and ‘TT:120’ scales.
PJM Models has created a brand-new laser-cut kit based on Outwood Viaduct in Radcliffe which will be available exclusively through the Key Model World Shop for ‘OO’ and ‘TT:120’ scales from October 6.
Above: The main kit in both scales is a two-arch outer pack. It measures 649mm in ‘OO’ and 405mm in ‘TT:120’ scale.
The new kit has been designed for Hornby Magazine and Key Model World’s new ‘TT:120’ scale layout and is offered in two parts. The first is an outer kit containing two spans, a central column and two main supports together with a second kit containing a single span and column to expand the viaduct with additional arches.

The deck is designed to support a double track main line in each scale with the outer kit measuring 647mm in total in ‘OO’ gauge and 405mm in ‘TT:120’ scale. The single arches measure 235mm in ‘OO’ and 148mm in ‘TT:120’. Track bed heights are 209mm in ‘OO’ and 148mm in ‘TT:120’.

Highlights of the kits include intricate laser-cut timber parts, overlays for all the individual spans in ‘OO’ gauge for greater depth, 3D printed arch tops for the centre of the support columns and sturdy construction capable of supporting train weights.

Prices are set at £119.99 for the outer two arch kit in 'OO’ and £47.99 for extra arches. In ‘TT:120’ the outer kit costs £74.99 and the individual arches cost £29.99.
The new viaduct will be on display on the Hornby Magazine and Key Model World stand at the 2023 Great Electric Train Show on October 14/15 and available to purchase at the show or online from the Key Model World Shop. A full feature on the viaduct kit construction will feature in HM198.
