Dapol adds more Class 86s
Dapol has announced plans for a new batch of ‘N’ gauge Class 86 electric locomotives.
Four new models are planned as 86245 in BR blue (Cat No. 2D-026-005), 86253 The Manchester Guardian in InterCity ‘Swallow’ livery (2D-026-006), 86426 Pride of the Nation in EWS maroon and gold (2D-026-007) and 86622 in Freightliner Powerhaul colours (2D-026-008).
As with previous models, these new releases will feature a five-pole motor, all-wheel drive and pick-up and poseable pantograph.
Prices are set at £120 DCC ready and £150 DCC fitted. Release is anticipated during the third quarter of the year.
