‘Coronation Scot’
carriages gain colour
Hornby has received complete decorated samples of its LMS ‘Coronation Scot’ carriages for ‘OO’ gauge covering the Brake Third Corridor (Cat No. R4960), Brake First Corridor (R4961), First Corridor (R4962), Kitchen Car (R4963), Restaurant First Open (R4964) and Restaurant Third Open (R4965A).

The new collection of LMS Caledonian Blue liveried carriages all feature interior illumination with the first class vehicles having table lamps and while the third class carriages have roof mounted lights. The lights operate on both analogue and digital control layouts from the box without modification.
Prices for the ‘Coronation Scot’ coaches are set at £47.99 per vehicle with release expected in Spring 2021. They will make the perfect partner to the recently released model of streamlined Stanier ‘Princess Coronation’ 6220 Coronation in matching LMS Caledonian lined blue (R3857).
