KR Models reveals ‘Leader’ artwork

KR Models has revealed further details of its forthcoming ‘OO' gauge model of Oliver Bulleid's distinctive experimental ‘Leader’ 0-6-0+0-6-0T steam locomotive.

Three liveries are proposed, with 36001 appearing in BR photographic grey with early crests, lined photographic grey (no crests) and BR lined black with early crests.

KR Models' newly-tooled locomotive will feature a heavy die-cast chassis, centrally mounted motor, twin flywheels, 21-pin Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket, etched grilles, flush glazing, cab illumination and directional lighting.

Prices are set at £185 DCC ready, £215 DCC-fitted and £285 DCC sound-fitted. Delivery is anticipated during the third quarter of 2022.
