Here’s a return for Airfix’s 1/76 Landing Craft, Mechanised Mk.III (LCM3) and M4A2 Sherman tank combined offering – a pairing first released in 1966.

Here’s another chance to depict small-scale ‘Desert Rats’, with the return of Airfix’s 1/76 8th Army under the Vintage Classics banner. It contains 45 figures, plus a pair of two-piece Vickers machine guns and tripods.

Limbering up
Airfix has re-released its 25-pounder field gun with Quad towing tractor and ammunition trailer as part of its Vintage Classics range, complete with the stirring Roy Cross artwork that has partnered the kit since 1964.

Airfix’s long-in-the-tooth Sherman returns in Calliope (named after a musical instrument seen on river boats) configuration, being equipped with a turret-mounted 60-barrel multiple rocket launch system.

It’s Airfix’s turn to re-box Academy’s 1/35 M10 Tank Destroyer, following an Italeri-branded version in 2010.
Test-shot Treats
It's been a busy month for Airfix’s development team, with the release of test-shot photos of two newly tooled 1/72 kits: the Bristol Beaufort Mk.I and Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc.
