Hauler’s 1/48 Field Safe accessory is a surprisingly detailed representation of a standard design employed by US Army forces on combat operations, so is perfect for diorama builders or adding visual interest to quarterscale models. While the armoured casing is supplied in resin (the door and combination are separate cast components), an interior shelving section is provided in the form of photo-etched brass. While this involves careful bending and fiddly installation into the cast casing, the appearance is superb.
