Bachmann has released two new ‘OO9’ gauge models of the Ffestiniog Railway’s Mainline Hunslet 2-4-0STTs Linda (Cat No. 391-135/SF) and Blanche (391-136/SF), exclusively through the Ffestiniog Railway’s shop.
2023 marks the 60th anniversary since the two locomotives – affectionately referred to as the ‘Ladies’ – were purchased by the Ffestiniog Railway. Bachmann’s new narrow-gauge models depict Linda and Blanche in their current condition, as coal firing locomotives in Ffestiniog Railway lined green.
Each 'OO9' locomotive features a coreless motor, flywheel, all-wheel pick-up, Next18 Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket, factory-fitted speaker and firebox lighting. Models are available DCC ready and DCC sound-fitted.
Priced at £229.95 and £329.95 respectively, they are initially available exclusively through the Ffestiniog Railway shop.
