Czech firm Eduard has released a raft of accessories recently and here, we inspect a selection of resin and photo-etched metal parts, and decals.
Ever the innovator, Eduard never stands still when it comes to catering for detail-hungry modellers who want to add embellishment to their builds. Here’s our look at just some of the products released recently, in different scales…
73746 A-4B
For those with original boxings of Fujimi’s 1/72 A-4B Skyhawk, or the recent Hobby 2000 re-release, this plain brass and pre-coloured metal detail set (above) offers side consoles and an instrument panel, ejection seat furniture, a windscreen wiper, canopy mirrors, and an engine front. There are also linings for the airbrakes, leading-edge slats, and flaps, wing pylon sway brace units and extra for the nose undercarriage.
672267 TIALD pod
The Thermal Imaging Airborne Laser Designator was employed on RAF Jaguar, Tornado and Harrier aircraft, before the advent of Litening and Sniper pods on the last two aircraft. Eduard’s resin item (above) comes via a main body, alternative lens sections (stowed/deployed) and an air intake. Also included is a rear-end blanking plate and a small stencil decal sheet.
