ITALIAN CAR kit manufacturer Racing43 is well known for its 1/43 kits, but its latest offering is for a 1/24 Skoda Fabia R5 rally car.
The Rally Montecarlo 2020 boxing (BIG K10) is a typical short-run multi-media product, with a hefty resin body shell and interior/ chassis. These are accompanied by a large number of white metal components (including wheel hubs, seats, transmission, light clusters and aerofoils), plus vinyl tyres, self-adhesive harnesses, pre-cut and pre-printed acetate glazing and two photo-etched metal frets. It is aimed at the experienced modeller, as parts will require considerable neatening before assembly and painting. Markings, printed by Decalsformodel are supplied for just a single vehicle, #30, which was driven by Grégoire Munster with co-driver Louis Louka in this year’s World Rally Championship 3 Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo event, with its distinctive tyre-tread livery.
