SPALDING MODEL RAILWAY CLUB’S annual model railway exhibition, sponsored by Hornby Magazine, returns to the Springfields Events Centre in the town on November 2/3 2019. More than 30 layouts are booked to attend this year’s show including Hornby Magazine’s ‘N’ gauge Barrenthorpe Shed (HM114) making its first exhibition appearance in three years. It will be joined by David O’Rourke’s East Anglian country terminus, Burnham, in ‘OO’, Graham Nicholas’ superb ‘OO’ representation of Grantham station in the 1930s, Farnham and
District Model Railway Club’s ‘O’ gauge Haydon Square, Mike Bisset’s ‘O’ gauge Ladeside Diesel Depot (HM65), Richard Holder’s ‘OO9’ layout Launceston, Robin Fox’s ‘N’ gauge Stamford East, Wakefield Railway Modellers Society’s ‘OO’ gauge Troutons TMD and many more. The show has also built a reputation for outstanding continental and European outline layouts. This year’s exhibition includes Michael Roualle’s ‘HO’ scale Klapping, Ian Milroy and Robin Marie’s ‘HO’/‘HOe’ scale San Maria Gandia, Spalding Model Railway Club’s ‘HO’ scale Lincoln River Canyon and Axel Klozenbuecher’s ‘Oe’ scale Zauberwald.
