In 1996 I formed my own IT Consultancy which gave me more flexibility to pursue my sound and lighting interests. While working as an IT consultant I was training Church PA Teams and from 2009 continuing through to 2020 my Sound and Lighting Company has helped Churches, Schools and village halls with permanent installations and events.

Since childhood, I have had a keen interest and involvement with model railways.

• Chief electrical engineer for a 45' O Gauge exhibition layout in the 1990s
• Installation of DCC and repair of model locomotives
• My current projects include building a 4" scale live steam traction engine from a machined kit, I have a YouTube channel documenting the build and showcasing other steam related videos

During 2020 Lockdown I have diversified and turned my lifelong hobby into a model railway business providing high-quality model railway items and live steam models.
