Military modellers will surely be interested in Academy’s first new tooling of this year, in the shape of a 1/35 Panzer IB and Zundapp K750.
Modellers who favour German World War Two subjects have an interesting new item forthcoming Academy. Kit 13556 offers a 1/35 Panzer IB tank, plus a same-scale Zundapp K750 motorcycle with sidecar. Three figures are included – a commander for the Panzer, and rider/passenger for the Zundapp.
Also provided is a cache of photo-etched metal details and the choice of five schemes for the Panzer IB. The early-war camouflage and markings represent vehicles employed on the Eastern and Western Fronts in 1939-40.
Production of the kit begins this April, which places its UK arrival around June-July 2024. It offers good value at £29.99 and will be available via Academy’s UK importer, Bachmann Europe. Look out for a review at Key Model World when the kit reaches our shores.
