While we await the imminent 2024 release schedule from Airfix, the company has continued to delight modellers with the arrival of previously announced subjects.Arguably the biggest (both in terms of the model and anticipation) is a re-worked Airfix 1/48 Buccaneer, with new parts to allow construction of the RAF S.2B variant (A12014), including a full set of Sea Eagle missiles and a 1991 Gulf War weapons load. Parts specific to the RAF version are presented on a completely new runner, and with much of the previous contents retained, there’s a bumper crop of weapons for this or other RAF subjects.
