Hornby’s new ‘OO’ gauge BR Mk 1 Restaurant Buffet (RB/RBR) took a step closer in January with the company displaying a stereo 3D sample of the bodyshell. Eight new models are planned in total, appearing in original RB form in BR maroon (Cat No. R4971/A) and BR green (R4972/A), while the refurbished BR Mk 1 RBR will be available in BR blue/grey (R4973/A) and BR Intercity ‘Executive’ (R4974/A) colour schemes. Prices are set at £34.99 each, with delivery planned for Autumn 2020.
