Updated 1/72 PZL P.24B from IBG Models

Get ready for another 1/72 stunner from IBG Models, with its splendid Bulgarian PZL P.24B

Polish manufacturer IBG Models has recently released an early variant of the PZL P.24, in the shape of the Gnome-Rhône 14K radial-powered P.24B, with markings for Bulgarian Air Force machines.

Above: IBG supplies new fuselage halves (the original items are also present in the kit) to capture the earlier airframe's nuances correctly, such as the radiators mounted on each side (later machines had both on the same side), while the cooling slots ar ebetter defined.

The firm’s PZL P.24B Fighter in Bulgarian Service (72554) is it’s first attempt to cater for an early version of the type, having previously released two examples of the PZL.24G in Greek and Turkish service. Compared to these previous boxings, there’s an increase of three styrene runners – bringing the total to 12 – while a second photo-etched (PE) brass provides for replacement cowling supports.
