Above: In ‘N’ gauge the Midland is well served with locomotives, rolling stock and even buildings. A Graham Farish Stanier 'Jubilee’ 4-6-0 shares space with a Fowler 'Jinty’ 0-6-0T at Barrenthorpe Shed beneath the Midland inspired coal and ash plants from the Graham Farish Scenecraft range.

Above: The Settle and Carlisle line is one of the most famous components of the London Midland Region. Nick Cason chose the area around Dent station as the subject for his impressive home-based ‘OO’ gauge layout which is predominantly set in the final years of steam. A Stanier ‘8F’ 2-8-0 leads a coal train towards the viaduct as a Stanier ‘Jubilee’ 4-6-0 coasts towards the station. Dent featured in HM168.
