Revell’s re-boxing of Kinetic’s large-scale Hawk 100 as the RAF’s T.2 variant also serves to provide fresh markings options. Parts are unchanged, being presented on six styrene runners (including one frame for transparent parts) plus a small photo-etched brass fret. The cockpit is well appointed, but modellers should note the instrument panel configuration is incorrect for an RAF Hawk (the decal versions provided are accurate, though), so work will be required to modify them. Other highlights include full-length air intakes and jet pipe plus optional wingtip missile rails – no underwing pylons are included, but these aren’t usually carried by RAF aircraft. Decals are well printed, although the matt carrier film may cause silvering, with one option featuring IV(AC) Squadron’s centenary markings from 2012; the schemes are:
